I just think it's useful to have different words for things that can be easily fixed without having to go get the car to a mechanic and having no immediate safety impact, and things that may require you to take the vehicle to a mechanic ASAP because there is immediate serious danger. They should not be in the same category, and people should be aware that they require different levels of attention and urgency. When it's all just referred to as a "recall", people will start to not take them seriously when they more often than not are minor things like this.

the automaker said it’s providing a free software update to fix the problem.

I know it has to be called a recall, but they really should find another name for these things now that OTA SW updates for issues are a thing, not only for Tesla but also other manufacturers.

I mean, I've seeded just short of 7tb over the past 6months, so I'm sending a decent amount of data out, it's just less than I'm downloading.

I keep seeding man, but nobody is downloading...I'm seeding everything I've downloaded 24/7/365, but my ratio is still only 0.4...y'all MF'ers aren't downloading the right stuff.

Sort of, but not quite...It's intentionally done in a way that in no way scales well and quickly becomes cost prohibitive for small players (not just individuals) to run a server because it requires an insane amount of data and bandwidth. So in practice you can only run a server if you're willing to throw a shitload of money after server capacity.

Who cares...it's just changing one shitpile for the next soon-to-be shitpile. Bluesky will inevitably go down the shitter too once its users have enough inertia to keep them there as they squeeze them dry.

Laptop cannot ping or access jellyfin server, other devices can ping and access without issues.

It's important that I can restrict certain users to specific content based on age rating, i dont want to do that manually. the server has content for both kids and adults, and my *arr stack + jellyfin works really well aside from these two devices which have quirks.

I've use Kodi years ago, i absolutely hated using it.

A simple and intuitive UI is important, since the kids have to be able to use it as well.
