I use a cheap hdmi splitter and a cheap usb capture stick and it works very well, although I don't use anything more than 1080p60. No idea how to get Elgato hardware working, though. They don't seem to have great Linux support.

I think that seems like a good idea

I also heard the reasoning that this would make every photo on the Internet of the mouse being used cordless. That didn't really happen though

Yes, that, in fact, is an unpopular opinion here.

The difference is, that you're using something for free, and you can disable this very easily.

I love these damn cross-over memes, they're the best when you least expect them. This is gold lmao

I love that he finally talked about it. He shortly mentioned the switch to Linux a while ago, in a gaming video, and Im excited to see if this makes Desktop Linux a bit more popular.

I like using thunderbird to have all my emails in the same place, in a unified inbox. This doesn't allow me to access my inbox on my phone etc though, so I'm looking for a FOSS way to solve this problem.

My idea would be to selfhost a website, like a webmail site, that has the functionality of connecting to different mail servers and unifying the inbox to get all my mail in the same place. Should be accessible by android phones and iPads.

Is there a better way to do this? Maybe with nextcloud? If anyone has an idea, let me know.
