I switched from Windows to Mint. Best thing I ever did for myself as It's extremely user friendly.

Is it the best choice for you? That depends on what you're looking for in Linux.

Personally I was just fed up with Microsoft and all the corporate shenanigans. But I'm too old and dumb to learn how to properly utilize Linux (not gonna kid myself on that front), and Mint has proven a great "Baby's First Linux" for me.

I will say this, the quality of what goes in has improved quite a bit from my younger years.

As a 40 year old, I regret to inform you that a serious night out now comes with a full 48 hours of necessary restitution.

May not be deep, but it's pretty accurate.

I think you hit a sore spot.

A quick look at TPB's top 100 games tells me that was a lie.

Linux Mint for sure.

It's more welcoming to newbies than even Windows.

It's good if you want something more 'close to the books' story wise.

However, the Harkonnens are quite dialed back (they always are). And everything is low budget.

But personally, I enjoyed it and still re-watch it from time to time.

The marketing: "Valve might be making a new game..."

Everyone: "Oh my gooooood!?!?"

I'm honestly worried about the fanatisism surrounding US politics.

From the outside it looks downright horrifying.

Yep, eventually ads will creep their way into the payed system.

At the end of the day, there's no such thing as enough money for corporations.
