Yes, even ARM and other System-On-A-Chip hardwares can all be unsmarted. Most of them are easy, you just need to trick it into updating to the correct version and then using built in commands to give you more access: most use Linux such as the TizenOS which is standard on Samsung TVs, or the GoogleTV OS which is a modified Android 3.0 or 3.2 version. Some of the more difficult ones can still be forced to dump their OS onto memory cards because their system on a chip has a pin for injecting code natively.

There is no TV that cannot be unsmarted.

Good, let them fight each other to the death. In the meantime, we need to make sure we're all on the same page for reviving anti-monopoly laws in the USA.

I bet this leads to Musk getting outed by more of his own companies, lol.

I don't think 23andme and TikTok are even comparable to the rest of the list.

No offence to Tetsuya Nomura, I love a lot of the titles he worked on, but he doesn't have a single independent thought in him. Everything he makes feels like a remix of something else, like his entire legacy is loosely copying Hironobu Sakaguchi's successes.

Do we upvote the article for spreading awareness of the murder or do we downvote for its title...?

Nah it's pretty easy to kill litigation before it starts if things step up. If you receive a cease and desist and don't want to fight it, you can shut it down and never look back. If you're served paperwork with a court date, the initial hearings can get the lawsuit thrown out if there are no grounds for a case on intellectual property infringement, one of which is "non-profit". In fact, a lot of people would argue that Yuzu was completely in the right to do what they did despite having a link to their patreon, but at that point the courts might decide either way and litigation costs money.

Counterargument, Nintendo strikes nonprofit videos and tries to take down free and open source emulators such as Yuzu and Dolphin. The fact that this is so believable should give you an idea of the sort of shit Nintendo is known for.

Ew, gross, anticholinergic allergy meds? I'll stick to my third generation Cetirizine Hydrochlorides, thanks.

Fuck equal rights of a corporation to fuck people over with an addictive product that has no utility. Thats an equal right I cannot stand behind.
