Norm from Tested recently reviewed the "Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses". The most interesting use case for him was to have good, non obtrusive earphones that allow you to hear normally without blocking people out.

Lol my guess is Rear Adm. Shahram is trolling and want to trigger the imperialists. Whenever I see the partitioning of Antarctica I think "what the fuck"

If Iran wants to do a scientific mission that's great.

Ok, but this is a stupid example. This is something you buy for the 7000 platinum and get the horse for free.

The horse looks like shit though and you shouldn't buy that much platinum.

Artists are "inspired" by existing art or things they see in real life all the time. So that they can replicate art doesn't mean they can't generate art. It's a non sequitur. But I'm sure people are going to keep insisting on this so lets not argue back and forth on this :D

Yeah. And it's not just how good the images look it's also the creativity. Everyone tries to downplay this but I've read texts and those videos and just from the prompts there is a "creative spark" there. It's not very bright spark lol but it's there.

I should get into this stuff but I feel old lol. I imagine you could generate interesting levels with obstacles and riddles and "story beats" too.

This is still so bizarre to me. I've worked on 3D rendering engines trying to create realistic lighting and even the most advanced 3D games are pretty artificial. And now all of a sudden this stuff is just BAM super realistic. Not just that, but as a game designer you could create an entire game by writing text and some logic.

There are tons of books. Afaik the main storyline was an extragalactic invasion by a super evil swarm. Also explains why the emperor build so many ships.

That might actually be the kind of thing where open source AI could help. At least I hope. To detect bias, lies or AI powered filtering / sorting of content.

I know there is currently a massive PR campaign for a power grab to consolidate control over AI software. They want to control the means of generation. Only MozillAI can save us from King GhAIdorah!

Sorry I'm upsetting you. I know we're entering an acceleration of technology at a time where our institutions globally are in an absolutely horrendous state. People on all sides are brainwashed as hell. The AI watchdogs are insane as well. What's left but gallows humor? I do hold out some hope though.

ACAB is just a public relations term

Theoretically I can imagine AI in the browser to be awesome to combat AI on the web. Let the AI wars begin!

My view is that for most people who still use bad passwords it will be a huge upgrade. So even though I use super strong passwords, every service and bank has extra security features because they must cater to simple passwords. So you have to check your email for a stupid code and shit. Or worse, give them your phone number!! Which is an outrage because it's linked to my government id!!!

Passkeys raise the lowest security ceiling, meaning there should be less checks needed. That's what I'm excited about lol.
