Federation speed is a serious backbone concern. It aligns with perceived reliability. If it seems like comments votes or posts aren't "going where they're supposed to" then people can lose faith in the platform

Haha love it. It must be the ass pennies guy

Once a pants is associated with a bad ass you might struggle to separate the art from the artist.

This is funny because an "elder statesperson" is valuable because they've been in the room for allllll the dirt, over decades. They are a walking blackmail bomb and are tolerated because they can call in "favors" when compromise is really really needed.

Edit whoever downvoted this, care to comment? If you think this was a "yay pelosi" comment you're wrong.

You still can. It's just a different confirmation now

I agree that anon shouldn't have given away their existing tasks. And that being fired is the likely end of this road.

Just clarifying that if you are doing your stated tasks, you aren't in some sort of legal violation by not seeking more work. You.might get passed over for a later promotion, or deemed as dead weight in a layoff round, but you aren't doing anything criminal

They might get fired but no one has to "seek" extra work, there's no legal obligation. If they do their simple existing task, they are meeting known expectations.

Now that is a vintage meme

It's a great track.

There's another (of many cool things those artists do) called "sonny", that is about men's suicide awareness. It's not "fun" but I think it's a great message.

This is a discussion about people approaching veganism. Someone describing their opinion of an animal based food is appropriate discussion for this thread.

Just seems like everything is "this company did this to their employees" and less about "this novel messaging protocol offers these measured pros and cons." Or similar

And yes, I could post things, but I'm referring to what hits the top, 12h.

Can anyone rec communities with less of a biz and politics and wfh vs in-office vibe?
