I installed mint. Used USB WiFi adapter, or shared phone as tethered WiFi over USB, can't remember what one. Opened the drivers app on mint. It asked me to install the proper drivers. Done. No issues since.

Honestly believable though. What better way to be subversive.

The abstract seems to suggest that in the long run you'll out perform those prompt engineers.

Yeah. Ive noticed I get content based on who's been aroind.

Drop kick cousin - graffiti content. Partners nerd friend - board games. Small family members - shitty gen z YouTubers.

Generally it shows us content that makes us mad. Sadly, and opposite to what we thibk, humans are more likely to engage with content thst pisses us off. Maybe it took things too far with yours. Possibly you commented on how fucked up one post was so it showed you more. Dunno.

Does that auto tile though?

I'm trying to find a simple way to keep track of movie releases that I'm interested in. Is there an app or website where I can just type in the movie name and get notified when it's available?

I've seen some posts mentioning setting up RSS feeds, but that seems a bit complicated for what I need. Ideally, I want something where I can just hit "get notified" and then receive an email or notification when the movie is released.

Any recommendations? Thanks!

(Not just when they are released in cinema but as 1080 or 4k)

Question is title.

In the past I've installed many distros on many older PCs, but never used linux properly (although slowly moving over to avoid win11). I've also had a heap of history with windows installs.

A family member has been testing Mint on an old laptop and is going well. This is a trial run before I update their iMac laptop (not sure what one but no longer supposed by OS updates).

I've never booted to an iMac BIOS or installed over top of apple.

  • Is this going to be like installing over windows?
  • What issues can I expect?
  • Should I consider another distro?
