Thank you for the write-up!!

The thing is - there is no evidence of sexual misconduct. He's been investigated by just about everyone from local cops to the FBI since the early 90s, and despite the outcry there's never been evidence. Considering how our justice system dealt with another high-profile figure's history of sexual abuse, I have to believe something concrete would've turned up by now.
Inappropriate? Absolutely. Illegal? Pedophilia? Doubtful. I mean, provided we genuinely believe in "Innocent until proven guilty" ideal...
Notes while I'm watching:
- The "vibe" is different - in my head I translated this to "he likes the GUI more"
- Minetest has zero "story" / progression (so no Ender Dragon to gear up for & fight) - it's purely a sandbox experience.
- better performance, apparently runs on potato laptops pretty well
- Mods are built-in, and don't require tools like Forge or whatever to tweak a jar file ⬅️ THIS is cool!
- Customization via the Settings menu
The "built-in support for mods" caught my eye. That's pretty slick, and a headache with MC.
tl;dr - it runs on just about everything, and focuses on giving the player an easy-to-mod "sandbox" to play in.
Gotta brush up on the ol' powershell
One day I hope to write a "go fuck yourself" email of this caliber.
I don't get NixOS
It's not for everyone. The idea is to have your entire system reproducible with a few configuration files, which you'd then ideally store in a VCS like git.
I haven't messed with it, but there is something appealing about the ability to reboot to an older snapshot of the system if an update breaks something, or being able to use a config file to restore your system to the exact OS version and exact versions of whatever apps you use.
Wait... so it's just a hardware middle man for Do Not Disturb?
You can leave the key behind
Fun idea until I'm out and about & realize the one app I locked would be useful.
"Fraud" is the correct term here.
... the aqueduct?
Could anyone broad-stroke the security requirements for something like this? Looks like they'll pay for hosting up to a certain amount, and between that and a pipeline to keep the mirror updated I'd think it wouldn't be tough to get one up and running.
Just looking for theory - what are the logistics behind keeping a mirror like this secure?
