I always wondered what recourse these governments have to enforce these fines.

Is she going to "release the kraken" like Sidney Powell did?

Kodak makes film, they just stopped making the chemicals to develop some of their films (Kodachrome being the biggest loss).

Imagine having a successful, "thriving" business and having to shut it down because nobody wanted to take it over after you retired.

Film photographers come to mind. If I'm not mistaken, anyone with certain types of undeveloped film are more out of luck because Kodak stopped making some of the chemicals required to develop the film.

Here's a horror story from literally yesterday. We have been fighting a system for a client for weeks and it has been a nightmare. Our clients just told us that they outsourced some of their work to an Indian outfit but that outfit is unfamiliar with Linux and doesn't know how to edit text files so they have been downloading the files to their Windows machines, editing them in Windows, then uploading the contaminated text files back into Linux. None of them, not our client nor the outfit they hired, understood why this was a problem. We have no idea what files are affected and we won't know until they fail because they obviously did not keep track of what they touched.

EDIT: I'm being intentionally vague.

Dealing with spaces while scripting or in terminal is such a pain in the ass. The true dark path of horror is using spaces indeed.

Me: This guy looks and sounds like the dude that fixed my old Mac Book Pro.

*checks Google*

Me: Well I'll be damned...

TaskRabbit is a terrible service. I hired a handyman once but when they arrived they were neither a man nor did I get a handy. 1/10

I'll see myself out.

I get YouTube Premium because I pay for YouTube Music, but I've tried watching ad supported YouTube on a computer I wasn't logged into as I was troubleshooting my main computer. I can tell you that I wouldn't even bother with the ad blockers. If there was something on YouTube that I really wanted to watch, like an old concert or something, I would just download it with JDownloader and add it to my Jellyfin server. If that doesn't work, if just move on. There's a lot more entertainment available for free than I could ever possibly consume in three lifetimes.
