"Seal downloader" from the Playstore and "Seal" from F-Droid are 2 very different apps. One is a a clone riddled with ads, the other one is FOSS goodness. You are free to guess which is which.

I was very interested in the thumbnail of this post so I did a little digging and found this: The PDF to the Paper where the whole picture is

That would be "accepting the premise of assholes" as Louis Rossman would say.

Grayjay is also a option if you want to avoid the ads. Eddit* spelling changed from Gayjay to Grayjay

Wild theory: could it have been malicious compliance? Maybe the dev got a written notice to do it that way from some incompetent manager.

The App (Drip) gives you after about 3 months acurate times on when the period should start. If you want accurate fertility tracking your girlfriend will have to measure her basal temperature (ar best daily) and either look out for changing cervical mucus or change in cervix opening/hardness.

An actually halfway decent idea might be adding a strong UV light inside the washing machine or dryer to kill germs. Modern eco methords with 30-40 C° just dont kill the germs effectively. You'd need to wash your clothes at last at 60C° which most clothes (especially sports wear) cant handle anymore. Or just dry them on the outside where we also have a Strong UV source aka. The sun.

That sounds quite intriguing, I'll shop around and give you an update!

So my wife has a 10 year old low end notbook. 500Gb of storage (HDD), 2GB of GDR3 RAM, and an intel Celeron Processor N2806. It originally came with Win 8, then she "upgraded" to win 10 and after that it was pretty much unusable. I am talking CPU and Ram about 80-90% in idle, opening a browser got everything down to a crawl. She mostly used it a storage and brwosing, watching youtube and occasionally to write. So I (also a Linux newbie) finally got the time to install a newbie friendly Os (Fedora) and it's so much better! I am Talking 20%CPU usage and 50%(?) RAM in idle.
