You have many options to choose from…

  • rsync over ssh+key, maybe pull from the central backup host is better
  • Borgbackup, restic and alike, so push
  • Syncthing, push or pull I can’t say for sure

Well, I looked at it a little bit closer : on desktop with chrome's devtools, you can reproduce the issue if you select the mobile view and iphone 14 pro max emulation.

I guess I will submit an issue on Codeberg 😶

Btrfs here, with zsdt:3, on my game data the compression ratio is a bit worse than that, but it does save some space to my surprise.
