On a quick search I'm seeing displayport to HDMI adapters as cheap as $6 on Amazon and $2 on eBay.

Many of them still believe that cities are full of buildings burnt down by BLM and immigrants are raping people in the street. They will never visit, and thus will always believe this.

I love the game I just hate having to build the houses and manage the people. It's not creative it's just make these boxes in this certain way.

This article specifically mentioned only changes to the computer hardware, not the cameras.

Good way for people to remember the difference! Even my wife had this one mixed up for a while, and she's very sensitive to confrontation. So I confronted her and she was angry for a bit but now she says it correctly.

I have a good friend who thinks teetotal means very drunk when it actually means no alcohol consumption whatsoever. I've brought it up to him a couple times and he reacts negatively. I haven't heard him say it since the second time.

I don't want to be a stick in the mud about these things, I just want people to improve their communication so they are respected and taken seriously.

If I see something like a there/their/they're mistake I just stop reading the comment. Probably unfair of me but I just disregard the person's opinion. And before anyone wants to tell me that not everyone speaks English as a first language, it's actually native speakers who make that mistake. People who learned English later in life generally know the difference.

It's so hard to do but if you do all the things you are planning on doing as soon as you get home then you can collapse into exhaustion. My wife is good at it. I'm terrible at it.

I've seen this several times and never noticed. Holy shit why‽

My friend and I played a shitload of Soul Caliber at one time. Cervantes was both our favorites. To the point where I wouldn't pick him if I was playing someone newer.

Those are good examples from the ESV which I haven't read. Have you considered the difficulty of translation from Aramaic to Greek to Latin to English? The church I belonged to as a child handwaved this away as all the translators were divinely guided to preserve the meaning of god's word.

That seems improbable at best and honestly silly in general. My church followed the King James translation which has so many problems. Was ESV created to be an easier read of King James or did it go back to an earlier source?

I have no doubt in my mind that the god of the Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) must be a tremendous asshole. If he exists, then I want nothing to do with him. All the depictions of heaven I've been offered are endlessly praising this god while basking in his glory. Sounds like shit to me. Why would a god who created humans need them to worship him? I find the idea perverse and disgusting.

Finally I'll mention the council of Nicea, the council of Rome, and the council of Florence in determining the Christian canon. There were many writings about Jesus from roughly 300AD and they had to decide which to keep and which to toss. Were they guided by god in this? In the curated canon these councils produced, god promised not to directly meddle in the affairs of humans in the new testament, until judgement day. So if he guided these translations and councils was he not a liar?

I am very curious by what metrics you have found Christianity to be the most probable of all the supernatural explanations of worldly and otherworldly history and current events.

Surgeons are the most bitch-ass people among doctors, who are already shitty. I install their gear and will literally run away from one who looks like they're coming with a question. We work when they're gone, so only a shithead among shitheads would have so little of a life to hang around and question my work. I imagine the ones that know anything about networking are at home but sometimes there's this little fuck coming acting like he knows computer networks because he works on humans.
