Almost as if there is a natural balance if you just leave things be.

Also beavers are pretty cool engineers. They might not just build one dam, but entire systems of dams to achieve the right habitat.

So maybe we shouldn't turn the world into one giant parking lot, while spraying every known pesiticide on the planet on it so we don't need to see even the smallest hint of wildlife. Nah who am I kidding, who needs animals!!
