Me too! Maybe the Steam name is just the boost the Linux market share needs. But wait, I thought Fry's went out of business. Do they still exist, and the two near me just imploded?

Regardless, MicroCenter is way better, and also closer than either Fry's was to me 😎

Agreed. They need to retire that dogshit engine and write a new one. I know that's a huge and expensive undertaking, which is why they probably won't. TES6 will sell like hotcakes on its name alone.

I had been looking forward to TES6 for so damn long, but at this point the most exciting thing we can look forward to is the crazy glitches that speedrunners will discover. That is, if they're not just the same glitches we've alll seen time and again.

When I read your comment, I internalized "sorted" as "sordid." I guess either one works!

Not being able to give support to friends and family will feel really weird.

I see it as being liberated. Besides, while it'll suck to be unable to fix their problems, if it gets bad enough that they consider other operating systems, you'll be right there to help them switch!

The "fun" part is that it has already discovered the poop knife. We just need to figure out how to coax it out.

I'll definitely give the web UI a shot since I'm already quite familiar with A1111 and it seems they're trying to recreate the same look and feel. Thank you for the info!

I've been wanting to run that one on my hardware but GPT4All just refuses to start its GUI. The only thing is a "chat.exe" that sits idle in the task manager. And this is an issue I've seen reported in their Github from several users, on both Win 10 and 11.

Have you find success with that frontend, or are you using one that actually works? I haven't researched any others since this issue has me a little burnt out.

Braum's gang sound off!

With my luck they're also a shitty company and I had no idea...

I've seen fonts on all kinds of filesharing sites like Mediafire etc. But archive.org feels like a good bet for some kind of longevity. As for making it findable, I'm afraid I can't think of any advice.

Yeah, I'm in a similar spot with After Effects. I think there's just nothing out there that comes even close for motion graphics, except maybe Blender. I simply haven't taken the time to learn it.

By pure coincidence I found a font just last night that I had been searching for, on and off, for years—on archive.org of all places. Kind of funny that you came back and replied to my comment today in your post about fonts 😄

Out of curiosity, did you ever find a solution for removing the DSIG data?
