Hardware and content is still the big issue. The good porn games still suck in VR, and there's not a lot of them. The equipment is just too inconvenient.
Your hands are occupied, your positions are restricted, your tethered to the PC, and I don't want to get a thousand dollars of delicate hardware nutted on. It's just not there yet.

I got back into programming because I can ask an Ai my stupid questions I'm too dumb to google correctly. I haven't otherwise wrote code since college and kinda revived a long dead hobby. It removes a barrier to entry that I otherwise gave up on. Been working on a project to teach myself python the last few months, with Ai replacing the roll of google for the most part.
Copy-pasting Ai code still blows up in your face just as much as code you stole from stack overflow...
Haven't quite filled the void from 9anime/aniwave going down, hard to replace the king.
I went from not able to lift my fat ass to 10 pull ups in less than a year and only crank out a few if I walk past and got energy to burn.
I got a pullup bar and do a lap around the office if I get bored. Lost 65 pounds with minimal effort after being off medication. Other people notice before you do and its a bit of a surprise.
The guys using FOSS Ai would be the same guys using an operating system without an hostile Ai built in.
