I'll never pay for mods unless they are as big as the base game. My issue is simply money vs amount of mods. I use so many of them and I'm not going to pay 90€ for the game and 5€ each for 1000 mods. (RimWorld I have even more than that. Skyrim about 700). You'd need to be insane to believe that paying this much is healthy. Of course someone who uses 3 mods will argue paying 20€ per month each, is fair.

Reddit got more important once it Google ranked higher and the astroturfs found out, that people trust a review on Reddit inside a thread more, than multi million dollar marketing scam action, trying to game Google algorithm or other sites. The same will sooner or later happen to the fediverse if it ever grows. It's unavoidable, sadly.

Damn, if only Spez didn't have fucked up Reddit. I even wanted to invest in that IPO, but now I'm not going to.

Oh wow, a dlc and more content. I hope it's good. I love the base game, it's my personal hidden gem. The OST alone is one of the best ever made. I wish more people knew Eastward.

I wonder where it will take place. Reuse the map? New map?

I'm totally not going to get hyped for that. GTA 5 is so long ago, we don't know if they still know how to make good GTA games. The online part will be infested with grind and microtransactions, so I only care about singleplayer.

OP broke into a Chinese immigrants families house and got free food.

I've noticed friends chose their faith themselves. I've lost four really good friends, that I've known for 15+ years, by them just not talking to me anymore. That's it, no angry shout-out, no "oh you changed a lot", no complain about me trying to contact them or any remarks on why they might not want to hang out with me. They just never go online anymore and don't reacting to the phone to trying to hang out. I know they aren't dead, as other people I still know are in contact with them.

My conclusion is, that a lot of people don't know anymore what friendship is and that they destroy this themselves until they are old but have no one left to hang out with but shallow TikTok level of friendships.

Companies always have a name and money to lose and are a hurdle for overreaching hands. The government has no reputation nor money to lose and a simple agreement opens all doors if it's already government owned. A big difference to me personally.

The government should only ever own things that would fail or be worse, if in public hands. Like infrastructure for instance.

Great and in 2 -3 years we find out, that someone has actively abused this security hole for years and stole whatever master key is required, to create their own fake government CA and has been spying on everyone for years. Or political opposition was imprisoned before they could act. Best is, such man in the middle attacks allow for all sorts of things, including putting fake evidence on your computer.

Oh yes, no one would ever do that every, totally never happened and won't. Nazis will also never come back. What, they soon are the biggest party in Germany, in other countries too? And will dictate rules in the EU? No one could see that happening...

Where there's honey, there will be bears.

I just hope we can create a browser plugin to deny gov CAs automatically or a browser from outside EU to block that shit. ...until your ISP is forced by law to block traffic from these.

One step closer to a great EU firewall and it sucks. Good old salami tactics. Because at some point it doesn't even matter if there are ways to mitigate this spying, if the alternative are so complicated and uncomfortable to use, that 99,999% of the people won't bother.

So, like all the others, while China will produce cheap eCars. Look, I don't want to predict the future, but if I only have 20-30k for a new car, I simply physically can't buy a 60k SUV. You can't jump into a saturated market of other car companies, who almost all seam to want only expensive eCars and expect a good outcome. There's only so much money in the pockets of people and only so much people are willing to pay for a used eCar, if it needs expensive battery replacement soon. Not going to happen. Build cheaper cars or fail.
