Hasn't it been replaced in Maine and alaska?

First-past-the-post voting helps the GOP. That's why they are passing legislation to protect it on states they control.

So why are blue states still using it?

Your state should pass electoral reform and get rid of First-past-the-post voting so republicans can't do that then!

How the solution became "vote for my person even if they don't represent you" and not "hey this voting system is broken and republicans are exploiting it. Lets fix it." Is beyond all reason.

I'm not even a smart person, and i can see the solution. What is your state's excuse?

Make sides less relevant and policy more important by replacing First-past-the-post voting in your state.

It can be more then one thing.

Republicans aren't 100% gun ho about trumps recent (and easily foreseen) fuck ups.

If we replace First-past-the-post voting, we could easily see the republican party get replaced with a more reasonable conservative party like the democrats.

Plus, you know, screaming at people unrepresented in government to vote for your preferred political party isn't actually democracy.

If Alaska can do it, so can your state!

Is having a great depression/war a prerequisite?

It's not called "workingclassism".

Getting a rocket to the sun is easy. Getting it back is the hard part. Since you dont need the rocket to make it back, it sounds like you're all set for operation "beam em up".

A lot of people aren't ready to let go. Probably something to do with having lived their whole lives like this they can't accept its wrong and needed to be changed this whole time. Sunk cost?

I just yell "pizza is here guys!" Into my empty apartment behind me. Tricks the delivery driver every time.

Fuck, I forgot this year. Life comes at you fast and you just gotta keep taking the blows day by day.

I need a week to myself to recharge

Sorry we let you down twisted sister. Turns out we indeed have taken it.

I don't want to be a negative person. I just live in a negative world.

Soaking in a salty sea.
