People are offering to pay for it because they understand that providing that feature would potentially cause lost revenue for Call of Duty, since (theoretically) players are buying skins so other players can see them.

I imagine there are a lot of potential solutions (I can think of a few at least) but Activision probably think the lowest risk is to do nothing.

You're such an inspiration

Very nice, readable and aesthetically pleasing. I particularly like the mobile-width view.

In my opinion, it's about both the databases and the hardware. Specifically if/when always-on cameras become socially acceptable to wear in public, then facial databases can be utilised.

Presently, I don't think it's socially acceptable to always be pointing a phone's camera at someone.

I recently discovered shadow tactics which has similar mechanics but with a samurai theme. Quite a cool game.

There is also the more recently released shadow gambit which has a pirate theme.

I would love to see their take on Fallout

Ah but I was saying that even this game predates helldivers 2. It's been in early access for quite some time

I must confess that I haven't read the book but I had heard the tone is not quite the same

Not sure if sarcasm/trolling. Forgive me for saying so if it isn't. This game has been available in early access long before helldivers 2. Starship troopers the movie has much the same tone as this trailer.

There is an app for Google Play called MiniReview that helps with discoverability of these sorts of games on Android

The tweet sounds like it's about "more information, more details" etc from within Blizzard, rather than ability to influence Steam reviews.

The tweet continues:

When asked whose decision it was to launch on Steam with no additional help: Bobby
