I had a coworker approach me on break and start telling me about a book he was reading and how much he was enjoying it. Absolutely. Linux in general has become very approachable. I recently came back to Linux after 15 years away and I have been very impressed with how well everything just works. I've only experienced very minor issues with peripherals that were solved with a simple Google search or update.
So much of forensics is bullshit or not quite as accurate as it's portrayed to the public. People are already primed to accept information from people with titles/degrees and copaganda television cements that trust in these "experts."
