Spotify's business model is abusing artists .

I know!. I watched a few videos but I'm affraid I lack some programming skills for now. Or it would requires that I have a few days off and be in great mood haha. I have a few computers that would probably work, what I would need is someone by my side to help me troubleshoot whatever wont work. You guys already made me switch to linux which I wouldnt even have considered a few years back lol. Super happy, but it's always a challenge when something stops working. For example, after the last kernel update, I spent hours trying to get bluetooth to work again, and in the end buying a new adapter was the only thing that worked. But one day I will self-host too!
You people are such nerds. Wish I could self-host too.
I think joining bluesky is validating another for-profit business that will do anything to profit from it's userbase. Like facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Titktok, etc. the ONLY goal of capitalist business is to generate profit, so they will throw you under the bus the very second they think they can make more money by doing do. But yeah, you're free to join bluesky until it becomes so shitty that you'll want to join the shinny new capitalist alternative, created by the exact same people lol.
I disagree. People that didn't left twitter when Musk took over are like people who didn't vote in the US election: enablers. In my opinion, if you accept to take part in the nazi shithole that X is, you are in the end validating it's existence.
And then what? You'll move to Truth social? Then Thread? And then to X2? Meanwhile there's a decentralize alternative that gives back the control to users, you're welcome to join.
Yeah that was a bit extreme lol, I deleted it. I am just tired of seeing so many posts that promotes another capitalist solution that will inevitably lead to the same result. Meanwhile the open alternatives are fully working but snubbed by far too many people. We have the power to build a better, more fair web, it just needs more people to get involved.
Lol, Blusky fan boys are quite active today. I'm sure this millionnaire's toy will be better than the previous one, good luck.
Most smart people left Twitter years ago. Dont make the same mistakes again and again. We can build a better web on the fedi. Heavily EDITED lol.
Un de me préféré d'un de mes réalisateur préféré. Classic shit.
Going from one shitty capitalist business to another shitty capitalist business.
French are using Twitter a lot. Even people that are considered pretty far to the left. I've tried to discuss this with a few french connections I have and it's always "but that's where the people are"....
