Here's a link to the last comment I made when this press release masquerading as an article was posted a few of days ago:

Stop reposting this corporate press release. Fuck the Pi foundation, and frankly, fuck the tech "journalists" and YouTubers who shill and cover for their anti consumer backstabbing.

"We know the murderer is a human, so we got a warrant to take blood samples from every human. Which of course makes that a legal and moral decision."

"Obviously we'll destroy all of those samples afterwards. We're the police, you can trust us"

That's the problem... Reusing a 50+-year-old design, with new engines and other technology that should have been used with a new fuselage design...

I don't think they'd ground the entire fleet if this was just a mechanic who made some one-off error. There's probably some human error involved, but those on the ground human errors are only catastrophic because of the design choices Boeing made.

My assumption is that the 737 Max is simply a fundamentally unsafe and unsound design.

I'm sure within 15 years they'll complete the final retrofit to make it safe and sound, and in the end, it will end up costing 300% of what a new design would have.

But, it'll actually work out for Boeing executives and shareholders, so it will be taught to future MBA student as a success story about the heroic and stoic leadership that generated record profits for the low cost of a few hundred lives.

Door plug means that it's a spot in the frame where a future door can be installed by removing the "plug". In the meantime, it just looks like a piece of the fuselage. The plug is what got ripped out midair.

Uber is a cancer on society, but taxi's didn't just come when called.

Here's how it would work: call cab company at 6AM and request taxi pickup at 8:00 to take you to airport.

At 8:15AM, call dispatch back and ask where you taxi is. Dispatch tells you they're almost there.

8:45AM call dispatch again, and they'll tell you they're about to pull up.

9:30AM call dispatch and cancel pickup

9:32AM Taxi arrives and it smells like the physical manifestation of 1970s porn set that allowed smoking.

There is a reason why the taxi industry got wrecked so quickly: it sucked, badly.

Agreed. There's genocide, crimes against children, and editors who place metaphors in headlines.

May all guilty parties burn in hell.

Standard IPv4 NAT or CGNAT?

Are you using their modem AND router? Or just their modem? If it's a modem router combo, can you place it in bridge/passthrough mode?

Even if it's CGNAT and no bridge mode, their are solutions available.

Are you looking to host private services like NextCloud? Or public services like a website?

They're the reason Shinzo Abe got merked with a homemade volcano science project.

.... I'm not joking.

Eh. That's not really comparable to lithium-ion batteries. Lithium-ion batteries are similar to bombs in that they're highly dense stores of energy. If something goes wrong and that energy storage medium gets exposed to air, or there's a failure in a charging safety mechanism, that's a chemical fire at best, explosion at worse, but no matter what, it's extremely toxic.
