This will have impacts, I just don't think it'll be as bad as everyone is thinking. Corporate Japan can be equally hands on and hands off. Fromsoft may be allowed to keep on chugging because they make money.

Emergency situation: you're in the UK, it's breakfast and you need something to put on your toast.

Sabayon Linux. I'm not sure if it's still releasing updates, the main website is dead. It was based on Gentoo and later funtoo, but had a package manager of precompiled binaries. You could still use emerge if you wanted to. Definitely a weird and interesting distro

Blend OS is trying to do the declarative nixos thing but with an arch base. That's pretty cool.

ClearOS was Intel's attempt at an immutable os. From what I remember it was really fast.

Edit: actually it clear Linux not clearOS. Edit: also clear Linux is stateless. I don't know, there's a lot about it I don't understand

Doesn't matter what I think. It'll still make Blizzard buckets of cash.

So could mods qualify? It could be cool for tamriel rebuilt or some other huge community project to win, if they ever release.

I think the grey area is that their is either no single one rights holder, so who's going to sue you, especially for a game they may not be able to use themselves. Or for defunct companies that hold the rights but are out of business.

Meaning it's grey in that it's too much of a hassle or not realistic to sue you for infringement.

I'm also talking out of my ass too, so please correct me.

I'm not particularly active, but I still left for OSRS a long time ago

I use Plex and jellyfin, honestly, plex only stays around because of plexamp. It's just too good. I don't like using streaming apps like Spotify or whatever because they're not as good

Showing off is an important part of social MMOs. If anyone can have the really cool looking thing for some cash then what's the point of grinding? For a hardcore player, what do they have to show off their prestige?

It's pretty important for an MMO to respect its most active players. Not to mention, what do new players have to look up to? To think, what do I have to get that? If the answer is "oh I just have to fork out some dough". That's kinda disappointing

The preservative they use is oil. You'll notice your own bread dries out much quicker than the mass produced stuff. There's maybe some other preservatives in there, but it's mostly just a lack of water

I watched a video a little while ago , I think the only value winamp has is nostalgic and historical. If it was really open source maybe we could get a really good fork and that's about it, I think. Maybe I'm missing the point, let me know I'm not very smart at this stuff.
