Crappy ones that they knowingly sale with faulty hardware. Of course someone tried that and they forced him into arbitration. I don't see why anyone supports that shit company anymore.

Too bad Telegram isn't as ready to fight Nazi propaganda on their service, but they would have to start with the white supremacist symbolism their own blog was slipping into release posts.

As a disabled person I find I am not intentionally tripped anywhere near enough. I beseech Congress to act now before I become complacent in my verticality.

What else will corporations pay Congress to decide that is in corporations' best interest for us to not see?

It's a 157kb executable and your mom is gonna be pissed.

Thank you, but it's okay. I only see the positive total on my app. Some people just love the taste of corporate boot leather.

It's funny you mention that. I barely make it 30 minutes at my art receptions of I manage to submit work in a slow. I've been thinking about it and remembering how much of a fight I put up before getting a cane and how much I wished I hadn't waited so long. Probably time to talk to my doc. Thank you friend and I hope you get that chair hacked and at your command.

[–] kumatomic@lemmy.dbzer0.com 29 points 8 months ago (3 children)

I understand. I use a cane due to severe inflammatory arthritis and a long list of other crap including a deteriorating spine that's likely to land me in a chair myself in a few years. Trying to build my own ramp into my house a little at a time on good days because it's several thousand dollars to have one built and eventually I won't be able to do it at all. Solidarity in hating it here. I'm in Texas in the US which, well it's run by regressive masochistic asshats.

I'm sorry I don't have any answer, but I just wanted to say I'm sorry you have to go through this to make your life easier. Also I fucking hate unrestrained capitalism.

Don't forget that they will hide behind arbitration to avoid paying up for knowing seeking shoddy consoles/controllers.

[–] kumatomic@lemmy.dbzer0.com 10 points 9 months ago

Even with the best care I wouldn't expect it to last 20 years. The switch is nowhere near a well built machine as the DS was. The controllers will be lucky to last a year. They used arbitration to avoid a lawsuit over how crappy the switch is knowingly built. We've been through three since their inception. That being said they're still a lot of fun. They are trying to integrate the sub more, but it's still avoidable on some games. If you buy one get a hard case or at least a somewhat solid case to help support the console with the controllers connected if you decide to play it that way. The way that they're connected with what destroyed them faster for us because you put too much pressure on the controllers and their connection when holding it. Using a case like this for reinforce the controllers and make them last much longer in my experience.
