I think I found the issue:

Next, cheap, second hand mini desktop Asus Eee Box.
32 bit Intel Atom like N270, max. 1 GB RAM DDR2 I think.
Real metal under the plastic shell.
Could even run without active cooling (I broke a fan connector).
IMAX 3D was impressive. Regular cinemas with 3D movies, meh.
Cold War Era 2.0.
The HDMI is a scam at this moment.
New standard, hmm, let's make an extra profit it.
Another new cable to make, to buy.
Isn't a surgeon's "HUD" a killer app?
It's probably a good product, but in niche applications, not for the masses.
