So I guess you used the Gregorian calendar in your last comments, I see. Call me old school but I prefer the Julian calendar.

But I see your point now. The 19th is over and will never come back. A new 19th will come and claim their place but it won't be the same ever again. Your package will never arrive but you will keep up hoping until the end. Hope for the sake of hoping. I honestly admire that attitude. It's almost absurdist.

I use the French Republican calendar from 1793 because I'm so anti American, I use nothing except for metric systems. You?

I'm not sure if this is a joke but bible is from the Greek word for books. So yes, it comes from Greek but has nothing to do with the prefix bi-

No, built is "gebaut" not "Gebäude". The "Ge- -e" circumfix is unrelated to the past participle. It can also be used with nouns, see "Gebirge" (range of mountains) from "Berg" (mountain)

Is that the case? I mean this is long before nation states or the north Atlantic slave trade or anything. I'm not romanticizing, people looted, had slaves, fought meaningless wars, but all independently of race. Besides, the first nations of turtle island are not really red.
