I also prefer a spreadsheet, but for a proficient coder it's not a week long job, unless they build it on bare metal. You can do a lot in an hour with a visualization library.

Oh that is so odd. I'm not from the US but I think cryptocurrencies are somehow associated with right wing there and the left wing hates on them because of this?

It's so odd seeing people self-describing as oppressed minorities hating on technology that lets you bypass that oppression.

Exactly copying a name is a bit strange to me. I have always been under impression that whoever named the social network has been unaware of the band.

Lemmy and Debian are not the same.

The problem is that these plugins need updates for security. You can't realistically manually reinstall all plugins on all sites weekly.

This is not to defend any of the sides, just something that may not be obvious at first sight. This ecosystem is full of amateurish code and unupdated addons are being hacked on a regular basis.
