On the desktop I am safe from most ads, but on mobile some pages are more pain than others.

The current v0.1.0-beta looks very good. I only wish it came with a bar itself instead of relying on external programs like swaybar, or at least a working preconfiguration for swaybar that fits to most of the gnome-apps regarding the look and feel.
I used PaperWM a lot, but then it broke too often with every Gnome release. I havn't looked into the latest PaperWM. This Niri looks more promising and seems to have the basics sorted out. I have to give it a try despite the additional time needed to configure swaybar.
That does not explain the dangerous part.
I would argue, that on Arch I can get a fancy update with a bug even if I only update every week, and I may have to live with it longer if I stick to weekly updates.
With this logic, it is always dangerous to update Arch, if you don't look what is coming in. I know, that Arch is not that unstable it used to be. But people seem to warn about Arch updates, still. I wonder how the situation really is. I will never know for my self, because I will not install Arch again, anytime soon.
And I don't agree that updating a rolling distro daily is per se dangerous. You can do that with Gentoo if you don't unmask unstable (~arch) keywords and follow the news provided with eselect. I can even mask stable updates if I am not ready to deal with them yet.
Why is it not dangerous to update only once a week or month on Arch?
Free advice: Don't do unpayed overtime and it will regulate itself. I work 36h/week and if there was too much work planned for me in a 2 week sprint I use the overtime to get a free Friday now and then.
Everything above 40h/week is unhealthy, at least for me, it is! In the near future I will ask for 32h/week; had that in a previous job and it was fantastic.
Not just here. Everywhere!
I think I will revert some deviations from the default useflag settings to use the binary versions of some browsers.
Please, someone fix the meme. Joule x a vector (represented by angles measured in radians).
Yes, I hate it. Even here in Germany you have to pay extra if you do not want the "repairs" done in a way that your teeth look normal again. But at least, bad teeth are considered a health issue here and you get treated when you have problems with your teeth and don't have to wait too long if it is a kind of emergency.
I find this cruel.
I wish Mlem would just open it in the DuckDuckGo browser, there some content can be seen, but it is very busy blocking it all.
But, it still stands, it is just too much, this page is just completely broken!
