That’s for at home. But to answer your other question, I do carry a small 50ml squeeze bottle of liquid soap in my bag, like those keychain hand sanitizers. Obviously it’s not always useful if the public toilet doesn’t have a bidet in the first place, so I also have wet wipes in my bag for a cleaner feeling at least until I can get home and wash properly.

And to answer your one other question, yes portable bidets exist. I have one and bring it with me when I travel so I can still wash if my hotel doesn't have one.

Not sure of this specific case, but typical brute force attacks are done locally on the database that was acquired from the breach, not on the site itself. This way lockouts aren’t an issue.

Or you know, wash with water AND soap. I wash with a bidet and use liquid soap along with it. That’s no different than washing in the shower.

Doesn’t work for me on mobile (IOS) too, unfortunately. I have adguard, firefox focus extensions on safari, and use Mullvad’s DNS blocking. I’ll have to go check which of them is breaking it, but I hope I won’t need to turn off anything huge for it to work. Either way, thanks for this, I’ve been using SinkIT for reddit to get a better mobile viewing experience, and this may be a better alternative.

Can you provide more info how it’s easy to accidentally wipe? I’ve only done a transfer once, but it was by installing authenticator on the new phone and logging in, then deleting the other one on the old phone after testing that the codes work.

I used to use Tusker, but the new Mammoth app is pretty solid. Their “for you” feed is nice and a good alternative to the home feed without having to browse all.

Usul has called a small one.

Nice! I hope it gets popular enough to get the same multitude of desktop front-ends and mobile apps Lemmy now has.

Is the actual video on an embedded tweet in the article? Because my privacy badger is blocking twitter widgets. Does anyone have a direct link to the video?

Audacious with a winamp skin. Nostalgic.

Oh wow. And I was suggesting Firefish to my wife to get her off twitter because it looked “fancier” than Mastodon. Glad she hasn’t switched over yet, and I’ll probably just get her on Mastodon instead. I wish catodon success though, and I hope it’s a better replacement for Firefish.

Didn't they set up their own Mastodon instance? Hopefully they announced it nationwide so they could get as many people as possible on it.
