Obsidian seems scared people will compare Avowed to Skyrim, but it shouldn't be—the similarities are obvious, but the differences make it compelling in c/games@sh.itjust.works

Skyrim is one of the best games. Avowed looks similar but prettier and less janky. The comparison is giving it positive attention.

I prefer this combat stupyle infinitely more than FF15, 7R, etc.

This is definitely on my watch list.

I bet I lean more towards Eurogamer on this one. Looks so mediocre in almost every way.
