It kind of goes both ways too, doesn't it? Like, the consumers aren't going to flock to the alternative platform without good content creators already there, and the content creators usually want to stay on whatever platform will get them the most views.

Fuck google.

Perfect, don't know how I missed it. Looks great now, thanks!

That is a really sleek ui, just wanted to say nice work. Is there any way to change the default image size on the card view? I find the compact view's images too small for my liking and the card view too big. A good medium size might be ideal.

What differences does this have over Lemmy?

Edit: I never actually used Tumbler

Yes. I think it would be helpful.

Absolutely! I'm no developer, but I'd be happy to give feedback or help any way that I can, just let me know. Keep us updated too!

Yes, I would use this a lot! That's an incredibly exciting idea and something that I think is desperately needed for the fediverse. I hate to say it, but I think this is something that other (currently more popular) platforms still have an advantage over.

As someone that travels for work, it's not always easy for me to learn where and what my resources are. I could see a platform like this being able to help out immensely.

Buying/selling/donating groups are something that immediately comes to mind too.

Corporate shill, reaffirmed.

Obviously, please share if you do!

I've only used a few so far. Mastodon, Kbin, and Lemmy. Lemmy is my daily driver; I'm not really a microblogging person.

I'm interested in Friendica, Piefed, and Pixelfed too. BookWyrm's concept is cool as shit, I just don't read enough books to make use of it (this needs to change). There is an idea I heard about a community driven recipe/cooking fediverse site, that I heard on a podcast (decentered podcast I think?) that sounded really cool and like something I'd probably use often.

Alexandrite for desktop, and eternity for Android. This pretty much fixed Lemmy for me, just wanted to throw that out there in case anyone still didn't know about them.
