They're trying to eat their cake and have it too.
In the past couple years, I've gone from buying exclusively from steam to prioritizing buying/rebuying single player games from GOG.
Multiplayer games are still mostly through steam for convenience - same with VR games/games with VR mods.
I just wish GOG Galaxy was better. Development seems kinda stagnant.
I constantly have issues with the plugins to access other storefront libraries among other things.
A lot (if not most) of vr games can be played seated though.
Sure you might technically still be moving around but it's easy enough on you that most people - even grandma, could play.
So I don't see that as a barrier to mainstream.
I think they meant like theyd still give em a ps5 it just wouldn't have been in the box on camera.
I feel like this would do the opposite.
You mean my mad gaming skillz will get me specially picked to 'save' Ukraine?
I mean Last Starfighter much?
Any disposable I've bought that doesnt have a recharge port the battery was dead with at least 20% ejuice remaining.
No it doesn't, at least not everwhere.
If you wanna be an idoitic asshat, and get all pissy because someone points out a flaw in your argument, thats not my problem.
"Don't buy games with invasive user-side anti-cheats that hamper performance, and demand refunds on any game..."
1st point: AC Wasn't there at purchase
2nd point: AC was added decades later so how can one return the game?
It's just like every other 'sandbox' game out there.
About the only substance is in the early game. Then there isnt much to do but grind out a checklist to collect everything.
It gets repetitive too fast.
Because there arent proper checks and balances.
So just like the corporate world and the us government the shitbags get in power and do whatever the hell they want with little to no repercussions.
The teamsters just went through that for years with that shitbag Hoffa jr. He just let the companies do pratically whatever they wanted.
Then you got stewards and shit who dont wanna do anything.
I didnt know any union reps/stewards until I went to managment.
Basically they only care about collecting dues and increasing their numbers.
They union doesn't 'demand' anything beyond paying dues from its members so you've got tons of people who really think they can act however they want.
Complete lack of any sort of rules of conduct and no work ethic.
Sounds like a shitty theme park.
