As of revision version #85, OpenStreetMap has the following tags for Golfo de México:

  • name:en Gulf of Mexico
  • official_name:en-US Gulf of America

Yeah but couldn't he just resend the law. I can't see why renaming it would be required, also if that's true, what a stupid loophole.
