Sounds to me like those fossil fuel companies are using those new subsidies from the Trump regime to bribe other companies into switching. And since most tech companies only think of short term profit they're totally down to go with the option that gives them a discount. Tech companies get cheaper energy while the fossil fuel companies get to make more companies dependent on their product for longer. In the short term, these tech companies will make truckloads of money. But in the long term, not updating the infrastructure to the modern age and actually going backward will only doom them, especially on the global market.
