For Kurzgesagt sponsorships are an important part of our yearly budget, representing about 20% of our income last year.

the 0.05% figure is wrong, according to the people making the money themselves.

Have you considered that there are other sponsorships than Gates Foundation?

yes, there is also some other sponsorships, including some from other bill gates owned groups/corporations. I don't think support from billionaires is necessarily good as long as it's diverse.
