I don’t understand why the outsourcing firm was punished. As far as I can tell, a thousand people are losing their jobs for no reason. This wasn’t their fault, and I don’t see what problem is being solved here. It makes absolutely no sense.
Talking to the media is a big problem.
It's not difficult to understand really. These underpaid slaves failed their task by having morals and complaining too much so they're off to find other slaves that keep quiet..
Meta punishing whistleblowers for doing what Meta hired them to do.
“We hired them to watch everything, and are shocked outraged to hear that includes intimate videos of our users.”
Ah. I didn’t realize that Meta considered them “whistleblowers”. It’s still a shitty thing to do, but shitty is what corporations excel at.
