I still can’t fucking believe that’s legal. How is it that he gets to spend $60 million on turning the White House into white-trash trailer-park ghetto cage match on the tax payer dime.
Any rule (legal, moral, social) is only ever worth as much as its enforcement. Beyond that, it's a mere suggestion. If people obey him, whether his commands are legal is academical. They certainly are effective.
The whole government is occupied. There are not enough sane people left in this administration to do anything.
Disobedience takes a lot of courage. Unfortunately, that seems to be in short supply right now.
Because it’s not legal, but it’s an oligarch take over so he’s getting away with it along with a many other things.
It's not legal, but since we are ignoring subpoenas now it's fine.

The US 1% finally went mask off and don't care what the general public thinks of them now. Trump was the permission structure that allowed it.
Uh, wait for autonomous crowd control before it gets really mask off. Then those people fighting in cages will not do it voluntarily anymore and certainly not getting paid.

Trump was elected because of the permission structure.
No functioning republic would allow him past the primary. This is one of the unintended (joke) side effects of Citizens United and Super PACs, it just took a few years and billionaires are sharing the stage with Presidential victors, laughing. There's a huge amount of money behind him, and he got more "free" press than anybody ever.
The US government has been too unrestrained for generations and it's only getting worse regardless of who is in power. The people aren't ready to do anything about it yet either.
It's kinda baffling. A country with a violent gun culture obsessed with rising up against any totalitarian government... And yet all of it is just a lie funded by the military industrial complex.
I don't see how any citizen with a gun stands a chance against drone strikes and SWAT teams. The best leverage American workers have over the rich is the same as everywhere else in the world:
