Wait, I don't see the downside... I would have loved to be paid for making videogame mods as a kid. It's not like the kids are being paid any less than adults using the same tools. Exploiting is when you are taking advantage of kids not knowing better yet. There is no exploiting here. There is just kids making money doing something they would do for free. And making the same money anyone else would make.

If you think about it, not being allowed to pay kids would be exploiting them. Or if the kids just weren't allowed to create their own content...
