So, what do we Europeans whip out and place on the coffee table to make a statement?

Data protection regulation for dummies I'm assuming? Mein Deutsch ist sehr schlecht.

[–] rufus@discuss.tchncs.de 5 points 4 months ago

GDPR for Dummies. GDPR is DSGVO in German, "Datenschutz-Grundverordnung".

[–] onion@feddit.de 4 points 4 months ago

And too obvious and not specific to European c***.

Hmm, you'd think that. But actually health insurance works here. It's nothing to brag about. I rarely hear people talking about it. At least not more than they talk about their households contents insurance. (I mean guns in the USA also aren't something exceptional... so you might have a point.)

[–] Diplomjodler3@lemmy.world 3 points 4 months ago

I'm sure people who have good health insurance in the US don't see it as an issue. But what about all the others?

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 3 points 4 months ago

Nah guns are more like dutch bicycles. Yes we all have several, but each is important and must be talked about

I severely doubt English degeneracy reflects anywhere else in Europe.

[–] BreadOven@lemmy.world 2 points 4 months ago

Haha. Good point. Universal healthcare then?

Yes. Unless it's done well.

A cheese wheel?

Water pistols. (Optionally modified to shoot liquid nitrogen)

[–] Tryptaminev@lemm.ee 6 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago) (1 children)

While it sounds badass "shooting" liquid nitrogen is in fact quite useless. Source: i had liquid nitrogen poured over my hands at room temp. It just feels like cold water as it quickly evaporates before actually touching it.

See video for example and when it acts different.

It's not meant to cause too much damage. If I wanted that I'd attach a match to the front and shoot fuel instead but that sounds even less legal.
