Please don't post this kind of junk "science".

Is that by choice or because so much of our lives are dominated by it. I often can't even park my car without having to use an app to pay for it. I can't go to a restaurant or pub without having to scan a QR Code to get to their menu and order.

It's just a BS survey by an ISP, I wouldn't read too much into it. Aside from anything else it would imply that 29% of adults in Ireland don't sleep for more than an hour at a time...

It's required by law in Ireland that you wake up every 30minutes to pray and curse England. You might as well check your emails since you're awake anyway

Where do you live where it's universal that restaurants dont have menus?

[–] Nurse_Robot@lemmy.world 4 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

It's not unheard of in Colorado. It saves the company from needing to reprint all the menus every time there's a change or a promotion

If anything, this indicates that restaurants should be forced to print menus so it's as annoying and inconvenient as possible to raise prices.

I mean I went something like 8 or 9 hours last saturday without it then I was on for an hour or two and then I slept for like 12 hours because I was exhausted.

[–] tal@lemmy.today 15 points 11 hours ago

29% of adults must not be very big on sleeping.

[–] Lexam@lemmy.world 11 points 12 hours ago

Pfft that's nothing. I bet I could go an hour and a half. If I wanted to.

[–] RedditIsDeddit@lemmy.world 8 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

yes they could no one answering this question was likely very honest about it

[–] GraniteM@lemmy.world 6 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

Surveys indicate that 100% of people respond to surveys.

[–] InnerScientist@lemmy.world 1 points 2 hours ago

*Chooses "no, I don't respond to surveys"*

[–] hansolo@lemmy.today 2 points 9 hours ago

Was this part of a survey where they get the "survey says" answers on Family Feud?

[–] Jimmycakes@lemmy.world 1 points 9 hours ago

I would get fired if I tried at work
