Well, youth unemployment rates are roughly twice as bad in Nepal with a lower standard of living, so not really a direct comparison. It would be nice to see more conviction from my fellow Americans though.

This sounds like you're saying the Nepalese people are inferior, because it's surprising they could manage this. If this is not your intent, your wording is not ideal.

In all honesty, they're perfectly suited to do this. High unemployment and a government that's corrupt and tried to shut down forms of communication, and then kills a bunch of protesters, and they're and they're a relatively small nation. It isn't surprising at all.

The imposition of the ban was discussed in this community. I agree that this is barely on topic but that's precisely why it should be available here. So that people who are interested in social media bans but not in world news, can find the info in the same channels and put the FO to the FA.
