Yeah, like what is up with Katie Hopkins, like did she just forget the only reason she's even famous is because she says controversial stuff. If everyone started agreeing with her she wouldn't even have the sliver of a "career" she has.
She's not the only one.
Candice Owens began as a progressive, writing about the "bat-shit crazy antics" of Republicans. When that failed to gain much traction (or pay the bills), she switched sides and started attacking progressives, earning the $upport of conservatives. IMO she's ONLY following the money, otherwise no one would have ever heard of her either.

I love the implication that not only did some Starbucks employee take the time to memorize Charlie Kirk’s favorite drink AND assume anyone ordering this incredibly basic combo was doing it to honor him, but also decided to write something on it that would get them fired. In an environment that almost certainly has cameras everywhere. That they thought anyone outside their cult was going to believe this incredible mound of horse shit is amazing. They really are sending their best.

I honestly feel like his favorite order going viral is fair. Like all those people changing their avatars to Clippy after Louis Rossmann explained why he did so.
The idea that the employee would care about it at all is pretty far removed from reality.
They don't care. They just want you to take your order and go away.
Really they just want you to go away-- they don't care about your order either... Getting the order right just makes you go away faster.

Presumably because in their mind they know the woke Starbucks employee they decided to target definitely did do this at some point and was just never caught. So it's not that he is lying, he's just exposing the crime that's already there and nobody has caught before.

Defending by mocking the ridicule of the Right because the right still uses the millennial generation as the butt of many generational jokes despite the fact that the generation is hitting 40+. “Millennial” is a stand-in for any generational trait they don’t like or want to make up.
Sure, not everyone has hit 40…but the leading edge of the generation is past 40.
Many have pointed out that conservatives believe liberals are doing $heinous_thing, so they're justified doing the same. In their mind, lies like this are simply self-defense.

Yeah this is essentially libel and harassment, with threats of vexatious litigation (intentionally bullshit lawsuits) and/or violence.

My friend's daughter works at a Starbucks and has been dealing with this, because they're not allowed to write political names. I told her to start calling out the name Charles, because it's his legal name, and it's not inherently political.
Since Charlie was his preferred name and we definitely shouldn't use it.
