Tech Oligarchs "Hey, US government. How about we make crimes against AI data centers a terrorist crime?"

US Government "Yes, Daddy."

ROFL. The people most likely to dislike AI and actively work against it love tech. This is the most backward thing you can say. These are the people who build jelly fin servers and make their own VPN's and (used to) build gaming rigs. These are the same people who heard that the US wanted to ban routers and were like "we'll make our own with blackjack and hookers".

Thank you. Also jobs. Nobody goes out protesting because Claude can't vibe code. This is the government creating FUD against political opponents, again.

Man this timeline is fucking wild and I want off

That worries me... how long until they start using the term terrorist?

[–] j4yc33@piefed.social 20 points 1 day ago

This is them using the word terrorists. domestic terrorism laws in the US are based on ideological extremism.

It's the year 2099. Nvidia-Johnson Inc has just announced a new breakthrough years after their merger. Biotech finally found a means to turn human flesh into... RAM

trump will truth about it tomorrow. Thank you for your whatever whatever. God I’m so tired.

It does not help that tech giants have become very hostile to consumers in the last couple years.

If tech ain't beneficial for all then fuck it. I can do most things with a pencil and cocktail napkin without destroying national ecologies and putting my jackboot on the throat of the forced users.
