Sure, but I assume the conversation was about mechanical bikes. Personally, for a PEV I would choose something lighter and cheaper and forego the pedalling altogether, but my commute is only about 7.5 km one way.

Obviously I can shower at work but then I need to get in 15 minutes early and then I have to blow-dry my hair and it is just a whole thing now.

You might not see the above as a problem but for me, the problem is I can for the life of me not get up earlier than I have to, I am just not a morning person. If I can manage to brew a pot of coffee and have a quick breakfast before I have to get out the door, that is a successfull morning.

Teach me the non-sweaty ways. I love my bike, but theres no way I can arrive not sweaty. Before you say go slow, I’m not letting no bus take my god-damn glory.

Im just shocked because this can really pass for some crappy smart watch ECG tracing. I see what resembles P waves, then the QRST is spot on, really.

Wait, what the heck. Why does that graph look so much like an ECG?

Fair enough, did not consider that since I only ever go in the pool to swim.

At 80 I would urge you to consider wired again or save up. Otherwise I would look for the cheapest amazon / ali headset you can find a decent review online (off amazon) for.

Ive not really seen private ones bigger than like 10m , usually closer to 5-7 i would think. Maybe Im spoiled by my 50m community one but I would find it annoying in 10m, I even take the 30 minutes extra trip to go to 50 instead of 25 and I am a beginner swimmer, ill go once or twice a month, do about a 1.5-2k in 60 mins.

I would imagine a private pool would be annoyingly small to exercise in, only ever seen one that seemed big enough and that one was way too expensive for any normal person to ever afford. Every other one has been more like for chilling in.

Theres many people that go for ergo mice these days as well as ergo mech keyboard enthusiasts that sometimes put trackballs on their builds.

World is probably overwhelmed again. I switched from world because of frequent outages. I don’t think you have to worry about UK scenario however, since the problem there was that the instance owner went awol.

In regards to #1 - I have never understood the whole blood related = gross. Like I get it, risk of genetic disease is much higher. But I have always though that the grosness comes from the nature of the pre-existing relationship dynamic.

Lets say two peoe who met in their 20s and are married do an ill guided mail-in ancestry test and find out they are 1st cousins or even siblings. Apart from the obvious issue of managing offspring risk, I don’t see why this would automatically kill the relationship or be gross.

E: Interesting, seems ive hit an unpopular opinion. Anyone care to elaborate?
