They laid me off 2 months ago. I didn't even work for MS

If you come from South Africa, you'll know that Ubuntu is bullshit, in SA it's just "fuck you, I got mine".

The settings app on my smart TV sometimes won't launch. I can't fucking believe it. It's a $1000 TV.

That sounds complicated for my stepdad, he has brain damage and is not tech savvy at all

Have any more details for me? I have a small home server for them.

I live 10000km from my mom, it's just not efficient

If you use a tv to watch, like my parents, this doesn't work.

Computer literacy is definitely down in gen z and alpha.

Fake (anon has gf) and gay (said fake gf hates the plates)

Embrace, Extend and Extinguish...

Its a Microsoft strategy.

The studio I was just laid off from was super successful and Microsoft has now gutted it with the last layoffs. I don't think it'll be successful for that much longer, morale is now non existent and people don't want to work.

Business decisions made by C suites rarely make sense on the ground.

Time for the EU to adopt FrejaID

Just remember that we still need more signatures on the EU one, to rule out bot and incorrect signatures.

So I've worked in IT for around 18 years now and in that time I've worked for 2 gaming companies, I started my most recent a year ago, but I'm wondering if I should just jump ship for the tech industry again, I'm now waiting for the layoffs in our business unit. I'm an immigrant living on a work permit and losing my job will mean losing the life I've made for myself over the last 4 years, and that terrifies me.

I used to love the company I work for but now I'm wondering if it's worth it anymore.
