It's the same society that just elected a fascist dictator-wannabe. No matter how many intelligent people you know, there's enough to do that.
Maybe warning labels were a mistake...

You joke, buuuuuuut https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2013/12/launch-code-for-us-nukes-was-00000000-for-20-years/
The USAF has denied this, multiple times.
I do not believe them.
Mainly because I know how people were during the cold war and have no doubt in my mind that the thought process was "nobody will ever access this without a reason, so let's make it super quick and easy or we might be radioactive slag before we finish typing"
The mere fact that it's believable is a problem.
And even if you DO post in small communities, half the time it's a toss-up as to whether anyone will see it.
I'm not sure about lemmy, but reddit was roughly 50% US users, so it was a good bet that if you timed posts for "early morning" US browsing or "after work" EU browsing, your post would do well.
Idk lemmy's demographic breakdown, but it seems more generalized (imagine that, a diverse fediverse!) around the world, so it's hard for me to tell when the most users will be active.
I haven't watched fallout yet, just because I haven't been in a "fallout" mood since the show dropped, so my only experience with video game shows is Halo.
And I literally couldn't finish a single episode.
So as long as nobody grabs a shovel, at the very least they can only trip over the bar. It's as low as can be.
Hi, I'm someone who loves to play video games, absolutely cannot stand to watch other people play games, and for a thankfully brief period, was completely unable to play certain games due to insufficient reflexes.
This would have allowed me to play a wider range of games. I probably wouldn't have been able to beat dark souls, but plenty of other games would be on the table.
Heres the best part about features like this, and I hope you're sitting because this might blow your mind: if you don't want it, and don't like it..... don't use it.
Hope that helps clear a few things up.
Thanks to how history is being recorded, there's no chance that he will be forgotten until civilization collapses.
I wouldn't want history to actually forget any shitty person (or good person) because that makes it way easier for someone with similar ideals to take power again.
It's more the sentiment.
I have a metaphorical bucket of piss just for Margaret Thatcher. ^26+6=1^
Life is one endless torment after another, soooooooo.......
I can't wait until Mccarthy has his final death and nobody remembers him anymore...
Most
Ah, an optimist!
As chonglibloodsport said, it's a numbers game.
When you have enough enemies, and keep making more, you're going to keep getting people who have had enough and don't care about the risk.
If it weren't for the "Russian suicide", putin would have been black bagged long ago by someone who WOULD.
I once drove a decked out panto with a friend of mine around the downtown area, so imagine two pantos (fiat panda) all tricked out to look like something you would see in a hot wheels box or need for speed game, bombing around town, literally doing circles around other players.
Armored up so they would have to break out explosives to kill us, but since we weren't trying to hit anyone, or shoot anyone, just driving around and whenever someone was stopped just circle a few times and move on.
Within half an hour we had about 10 people in a Panto convoy doing the same thing with varying levels of success. Sometimes it looked like a well choreographed dance, but mostly it was a cluster fuck of cars trying not to hit each other as we vibe and cruise.
Then someone came in with a jet and ruined our fun.
Idk how hard water coding is, but I imagine it's hard since good looking water seems rare.
That is some damn fine looking water
Excellent shots.
