The only way to stop this is to stop working for the companies that do it. That's never gonna happen though, people gotta eat.

Battlefield already has the bones for a BR mode so they might as well. It's not really novel anymore, at this point it's just another feature like death matches.

That wasn't made by Game Freak, that was Niantic.
