Same goes for the people who whine about how broken COD is yet still buy it every single year. People often wonder why the game industry is the way it is, but then you realize the average person has a gold fish brain and will keep wasting their money on crap just to be disappointed over and over. Companies absolutely love that kind of customer and would rather rely on them than actually try.

Honestly, I still don't know. My 3070 worked well on linux the last time I used it so hardware won't be an issue. I also don't play many modern games so that's not a problem either. It's just my partner is schizo with what games they wanna play. Rn they're obsessed with minecraft and bedrock doesn't work on linux. I know for sure I'm not going to 11 though. I've used it before and absolutely hated the UI layout.

Spez had his gestapo admins ban a bunch of people after Elon had a fit so you're getting a lot of the terminally online types coming here. My suggestion is just don't give them any attention and they'll eventually give up. I was semi active in a few lefty subs and holy shit you could smell some of the people there just from their comments.

That's actually pretty interesting. I'd say I wanna see more stuff like this but after hearing Microsofts plan to start making fully AI generated games I'd rather this stop here.
