Are there Cozy shooter games? (lemm.ee)
 

I want to play an easy shooter where you feel like you're in a flow state aiming at targets, the only time I've ever felt like that was in the PS2 Medal of Honour, kneecap, helmet shot, head shot or up till MW4 original.

I've tried the latest CoD and the cinematics and cutscenes are just overblown.

Borderlands would be a kind of turn off your brain type but they haven't made a new game in awhile.

Helldiver had great shooting but the grind, limited levels and multiplayer means I wasn't too invested in it after a hard days work

4 top tier single player games developers tasked to build live service games.

Naughty Dog hasn't released anything new, both sequels then silence. Suicide Squad kills the game studio. At least Arkane and Bioware are given chances to carry on with the next game.

We could have had the next big WB superhero game or Wolverine. Prey 2? There's a higher chance of Amy Henning working on a Soul Reaver game than ND coming out with an original IP

Been playing mostly Marvel Snap and Match 3.

Apparently Mihoyo have expansive games that take hours, but I haven't found one that is pick up and play for commuting. Which ones do you recommend?

I just started BG3, it feels like a modern Dragon Age, Mass Effect with serious focus on the RPG elements. The posing and character models aren't a leap like the Witcher 3, but the voice acting is top notch

The entire bar building aspect/async multiplayer is hidden from the trailers. Might not be as fun if player counts are down

Really wanted to like it, it's been a long time seems a good BL game, but the quests were tedious and the melee didn't work.

The whole arpg loop where they give you shitty weapons for the first few hours sucks

Not buying a PS5 because there was a shortage and now too expensive. Bought an older GPU and held off on updating CPU due to price.

Things need to normalise otherwise I'll just go back to books or touching grass
