$2.28 million is pocket change for the capitalists, they will learn nothing

Lemmy is basically: Cats, Star Trek, Politics, and Linux. Occasionally it has a few other subjects pop up like wizard posting (pondering the orb), me personally I hope that Lemmy has a massive wave of alienposting.

They have a ton of liberals who bootlick the government, love corporations, and call anyone left of Reagan a "Tankie"

It is for shit libs (this should be posted on .world)

Tbh I'm more exited about the Deckard and its controller then the steam controller. I wonder what features it will have :3

For that price you can just get a raspberry pi 5, you can stream on it but also use it as a low end Linux machine

Yeah, I just need to add an argument before the command. I set up an alias so its simple to launch.

I managed to get Steam working with some work, heroic games launcher worked with no extra effort, and everything in the repo is good (Alpine is independent)

I personally haven't ran into any yet, tbh I have more issues with SystemD dependent apps (Also keep in mind Alpine packages and maintains apps in their repo so they don't require GLIBs/SystemD)

I wouldnt call it enthusiast grade, every day usage is easy but installation can be tough (it gives you a barebones system).

Alpine:

  • Rolling release (Alpine Edge) yet stable
  • Extremely lightweight
  • Very customizable
  • After setting it up I find that it works very well
  • Decently sized repo
  • OpenRC rather then SystemD (I prefer the way it handles services)

I don't get seasonal depression, I'm always depressed :c
