that's a minimum of 27TB of storage, what kind of monster is your computer?

just had a silly idea: stopping your torrent right as it starts to seed (to avoid ISP letters) is like pulling out as a form of birth control

Louis should know better, and that makes me wonder about his intentions. I've supported him in the past but this just has me confused.

Edit: I'm not entirely sure this is malicious, but I think he knows that this goes against his own advice on how to start change, and is too stubborn to admit it.

I looked here but none of the options really stood out to me

  • I am looking to both view and create English videos
  • Preferably with a high amount of storage allowed per user
  • No opinion on 'Sensitive videos' (Is this referring to pornography?)
  • I don't plan to do livestreams

in my experience tastes like (savory-sweet?) metal and pain

edit: not beating the pica allegations at this rate, doesn't help that I do actually have an ED

I was a dumb child

I went to check and apparently yt-dlp doesn't support spotify, sorry for leading you on. (I was probably thinking of soundcloud)

~~yt-dlp should work great for this, though it is a command line program~~

EDIT: yt-dlp does not work for spotify, I was wrong

“The reason we’re here is because the government of the United States wants you to leave the United States,” Judge Ubaid ul-Haq, presiding from a courtroom on Varick Street, told a group of about a dozen children on a recent morning on Webex.

The parties included a 7-year-old boy, wearing a shirt emblazoned with a pizza cartoon, who spun a toy windmill while the judge spoke. There was an 8-year-old girl and her 4-year-old sister, in a tie-dye shirt, who squeezed a pink plushy toy and stuffed it into her sleeve. None of the children were accompanied by parents or attorneys, only shelter workers who helped them log on to the hearing.

Immigrant advocates and lawyers say an increasing number of migrant children are making immigration court appearances without the assistance of attorneys, which they say will lead to more children getting deported.

“That child will be ordered deported from this country — that could all happen without that child ever speaking with an attorney and given the opportunity to obtain representation,” Shah said. “The cruelty is really apparent to all of us out here in the field.”

holy shit

Bluesky Post (this was also posted on twitter)

I was hoping to find a statement from the aggressor, but it seems to be too early.

The other domains are still online, though z-library has yet to respond

Post edited, thank you @mbt2402 for correcting me

if that even is your real name!

featuring lines such as "piracy is almost not the right answer"

you don't have to tell me information about why Rui's drive is gone, I just googled it because I forgot their name (I thought it was Anadius' drive at first)

This reminds me of Tom Scott's excellent video on electronic voting machines, where he mentioned that the system for counting votes needs to be easily understandable to the average person so that they can adequately trust it.

pixeldrain is also one of the least sketchy download sites (that are commonly used)

they have a lemmy instance as well but I don't know if they know about all the piracy going on

I actually bought ultrakill but now I have an even bigger respect for the chad that is Hakita
